Fourteen startup companies whose technological products and services are expected to “create a huge impact in Philippine society” will receive a total of P43 million in research and development (R&D) grants from the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCIEERD).

The Department of Agriculture’s PRDP-Marketplace and InsightSCS signed an MOU to support Filipino farmers and fisherfolk by integrating them into the digital commerce scene, allowing for a more efficient supply chain management system and increased market visibility.
A cold chain database is scheduled to be launched next year by various government agencies, led by the Board of Investments, and the private sector.
